Stess has been appointed as vice president of corporate and business development. In this role, Stess is responsible for developing client relationships with registered resellers and cable operators who augment their commercial services offering with Whaleback Systems' IP business phone solution. In addition, Stess will spearhead the company's marketing and brand management.
Stess' expertise spans the telecommunications, computer and software industries.
As vice president and general manager of OEM Solutions for Lucent Technologies, Ken managed the operations of three global product divisions in the next-generation networking market. He also served as vice president of sales for Excel Switching Corporation, a leading worldwide provider of open, programmable switching solutions. Most recently, Stess was the executive vice president of business development for General Fiber Communications, the cable industry's largest fulfillment provider.

Ken holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
